Resilience Software, Inc. will not use the information collected by the T-Res applications in any way, shape or form, except as specified in contracts with participating programs or individuals. In addition, any information that you provide us directly (for example, phone numbers and e-mail addresses) is treated as confidential.
Confidentiality and Server Security
We are as concerned about confidentiality and privacy as you are and have drafted the following policies to ensure these are safeguarded:
Specifically,
- We will not provide, sell, or lend individual information about residents, staff physicians, or medical students to any other organization or university.
- We do not provide information about one program to other programs without the program’s express permission. Any data used for comparison between programs will be summarized in a report format that is developed in conjunction with participating programs. Only participating programs that have opted to participate and are sharing a discipline template can see this information.
- Only Program Directors and the specified individuals they delegate this task to can see detailed information about residents, staff users or students and their activities (including evaluations). Resilience Software, Inc. will not provide information about one resident to other residents, or one staff physician to other staff physicians.
- We do not gather or track information that would allow non-users to identify patients. The link to patient information is the Medical Record Number (MRN) and Date of Birth (DOB), which can be entered on a mobile device. The MRN is not a required field for any program.
- We do not provide identifying information about the evaluator to someone who is being evaluated. Any evaluation data is provided in summarized format so that, as far as is possible, the evaluator cannot be identified.
- We do not allow any advertising on our web site. In future, we may provide a button on a page that will show relevant product information if the button is clicked on by users.
- We will not attempt to sell you any other products via the T-Res web site or using your personal information.
- We uphold industry standards regarding server security. We use a hardware firewall and dedicated software to ensure security.
Mobile Device Security
We strongly recommend that you:
- Always keep your device in a secure place.
- Use a password so that no one else can turn on and use your device.
- Consider investing in a security software utility.
