Success Stories
1.Broad T-Res Implementations
Several disciplines have chosen to implement T-Res on a national scale in Canada. This allows each program to have access to benchmark statistical results to provide a context to the results for individuals and their program. Disciplines with most or all Canadian universities participating include:
- Urology (12 programs)
- Pediatric General Surgery (6 programs)
- Plastic Surgery (9 programs)
- General Surgery (11 programs)
Try And Buy
If you are interested in using T-Res for your program, please call us toll-free at 1 (866) 694-2323 or email support@t-res.net to arrange for a free trial. We will set up a fully functional trial program for a limited number of users in order for you to evaluate how T-Res can be implemented within your group.
If you decide to go ahead with a full T-Res implementation for your program once the trial has ended, the process is typically as follows:
- Let us know you are interested through a call or email.
- We will gather some basic information about the number of user licenses needed for invoicing purposes.
- We will send you an invoice and while payment is being processed we will work with you to collect the information needed to configure the software to your needs.
- We will set up a version for review and approval.
- Once payment has been received and the End User License Agreement has been signed, user accounts are created and introduction emails with their login information are automatically sent to them.
- Any user can contact support at any time by phone or email.
Pricing
The cost for T-Res is two parts: a one-time set up fee and an annual user fee for each person using the system. To obtain a quote for your specific needs, please call our office toll free at (866) 694-2323 or email support@t-res.net. All prices listed below are in Canadian dollars. For clients outside of Canada, please contact us for pricing information.
Canadian Pricing
- The set up fee covers purchasing the software for any number of users (including a Faculty version if they choose to use it), and configuring the software for your specific Program needs. The setup fee varies from $2,000 to $3,500 per program, depending on the number of programs purchased at one time.
- The annual user fee which covers email and phone support to each user, ongoing software upgrades for all users, hosting the server, and program maintenance. The annual fee varies from $60/year/person to $128/year/person depending on the number of users.
Training
We offer a free training session to all interested participants within a paid program, delivered via phone/web conference, or we can provide on-site training for a fee. All new programs are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity. We recommend that you book your training session 2 weeks after the start of T-Res use in your program.
Configuring the Software
The process of configuring the software for your program varies. If you would like to use one of our existing versions with zero to minimal customization, all we need is your program-specific information and we can set you up quickly. However, if you require your own version, more customization on an existing setup, or if you are in a discipline that is not yet set up in T-Res, we will need more time and information in order to create a version specific to your needs.
Creating a custom version always starts with, “What types of activities do you wish to track?” These generally fall into one of the five broad types: Academic, Administration, Consultation, Intervention and Clinical Activity with Multiple Patients (CAMP), and can be further broken down into logical groups, if necessary, such as Pediatric and Adult. Once the types are selected, fields are selected for each activity type, and the contents of each field defined. Standardized lists used across each discipline enable us to provide comparative reports showing anonymous ’benchmark’ data.
Once setup of the logging portion is complete, we will enable reports that are applicable to your program, or work with you to design new reports. You may also choose to enter goals (program requirements) into the system, which can be used to generate reports that will show the level of completion, or the gaps in training. To increase participation, you may setup a series of email reminders that will remind userss to log their activities, if they have been inactive for specific periods of time.
